I started blogging when I was doing my undergraduate study in Universiti Malaysia Kelantan.

At first, it was a project that was introduced to us by our English Language Lecturer. Mr Andrew Williams. On his first class, he said don't call me sir. Just call me Mr Williams. Sir is an honorary salutation given when you are being knighted by the Queen of England.

Haha! Here I assumed that a guy teacher should be address as sir. So I taught wrong. Haha! All this years in school.

The assignment was to write something in English every week before the next class. Sir Mr Williams and our other course mate can the read and give comments. Of course you can choose to be anonymous or just reveal your self.

The blog has to be in english.

I was an angry, lost young man with so much things going in my mind. (even so now, =P) I needed some place to let out what I felt and my thoughts. Most of my post here are just rants, problems a guy face at that age. haha. Looking back at it. It was kind of like a diary. Not a diary. More like a public rant. haha.

So I started another blog. This blog. All Mixed up. Rojak! Sometime I write in Bahasa. Sometimes in English. A little bit of this and that.

So it has been a verrrry verrrrry long time since I have written anything in this blog.

I decided I am going to start writing again.

This time. It would be another chapter in my life.

What am I going to write about??

Well maybe about travel.

Why I like car trips!

Ever been on a car trip? What is a car trip? hahaha. Basically it is getting on the car and driving yourself to a destination mostly for vacation or sometimes work.

So why do I like car trips?

1. I like to drive. When I get the chance I always choose to drive for my self. I just like the feel of in control when negotiating corners, overtaking lorries. Maybe you can say, I trust my own life in my own hands.

2. I like the idea of me having the control on when to stop. When to move. Where to go. All at the leisure of my own time. No time constraints. Once I had a very bad stomach ache. When I politely asked the bus driver to stop, I was rudely shooed! off. What to do..Have to "tahan" and pray hard that he stops when ever he passes a petrol station.

3. You get to experience or see things you always wanted on the way to your intented destination. This reason is more or less the same with the second one.

However, there are also some downs to the idea of driving your self.

1. Tired!!!! Imagine if you were to drive for 6 7 hours straight. Oh! my! upon reaching the destination you will feel really really tired. Best option. Have a second driver. Or stay a day more at the place. So you will have plenty of rest to go sight seeing the next day.

2. Have to constantly check for temperature if the car is old. I once had my car breakdown when going up to cameron. Ended up paying RM 1000 ++ in repairs. So the next time you go on along journey. Check the condition of the car first! Luckly I was not alone when the car broke down.

3. Getting lost. While trying to get to the destination as soon as possible. We are inclined to use the shortest route. However, there are times when things don't go according to plan. You get lost. end up going round and round in circles. Best thing to do when lost. Stop and ask for direction. Save more time then beating around the bush.

Lighting Up A Cigeratte is Like Burning Money

I don't know why people smoke. For me, my reason for smoking is because I just want to get my head out of something just for that moment. Some people blame the nicotin in the cigeratte, for thier continuous addiction to smoking. Not knowing that smoking has already became their habit. Habit is like every day you wake up you go to the loo. Everytime you sleep you need ur bantal busuk.

For me sometime I think smoking is like burning money. Rather then you burn a cigerratte which is far more dangerous. Why don't you just burn the money? Got a friend that told me that you can actually buy half a box of cigarette rather then one whole box.

REASON: IF I BUY ONE BOX. ILL FINISH IT UP IN A DAY. BUT! IF I BUY HALF A BOX I AM JUST FINISHING 10 CIGARETTE A DAY. FAR SAFER! FAR MORE ECONOMICAL.

To me whatever makes him happy...

But I don't think anyone sane enough will have the rational to burn money. Better burn cigarette.

But then if you are the joker...then money doesn't even matter to you. For the rest of us...money keeps us going..keeps us away from starvation...Money can't buy love..buy money sure keeps the world going!

GooD Service VS Bad Service

In my opinion there are only two types of services. the bad and the good. But often in time we encouter the not so good.

Here is the list of excuses people give when they haven't done shit about what we ask or just don't give a damn about what we ask for help in the first place.

1. System down-Get this excuse very often when we want to renew license, pay summons, buy amanah saham. No back up kah?? See depend to much on technology. once down.. horray! no need work! sometimes take more then a day to rectify the so called system down. And the worst part is. Its easy just to give the excuse and people will just go away. Horray!!! Again no need work!

2. Orang incharge cuti-wth!?? means everywork in the department depend on one guy?? then the rest 20 people in the office do what?? So one guy goes on leave mean horrray!!! no need do any work! Be efficient for goodness sake. Know something about your work please! Happen in Government department always!

3. Belum sampai lagi- Get this alot when want to go claim package or letter in the universiti. Damn! ask them check, they say wait tomorrow. Damn lazy ass.

4 Waktu pejabat habis-this one always happen in government department. The clock shows 4.50. They guy behind counter already getting ready to go back.

Working in Malaysia very easy. Especially government servant.

8.00 am punch in.
8.30-9.00 am go breakfast.
10.00 am minum pagi.
12.00-1.00pm lunch
3.00 pm minum petang
5.00 go back home.

and when they decide to take a break. it's not 10 - 15 min. its the whole farrrking hour and sometimes even more.


Malaysia boleh! In Boleh land ! Kita boleh rehat lama2! Kerja skit skit!

Of course not everybody is like that. but wth.....

United We Stand Divided We fall....

I think the U is full of tut......

As the saying goes united we stand divided we fall..

Since some stupid idiot student decided to go smoke at the stairway and didn't bother to clean up his mess. Now the U is coming up with the best known solution that...the next time they find another ciggarate bud. They are going to summon the whole aras. WTH.

My suggestion:

1. Saman the whole blady block la. WTH. Lets say...just imagine if some guy from the top floor decided to go smoke at the first floor ...and he throws his shit there. Because of his intelect to not smoke at his floor, he made all those in the second floor got summon. WTH

2. If you want to prevent student from smoking. Educate them since young. Here, at home bapak pun dah merokok. ni dah besar panjang . you think they want to quit??! and.....even the staff themselves smoke in the compound of the U....so???? how you going to say stop smoking! blady WTH!

3. Conduct spot check. Well you read corrrectly. Ya . if we so called U student act like small children . I say lets treat them like one.

4. The student themselves must be aware. Report to the so called Higher Authority.. but then again is there any use???

The last time some one made a mess they blame the whole aras. Padahal if they really look at the mess it was made by one particular group of student from one particular faculty. conduct Interogate that group and you will find the culprit....but noooooooo. Malas punya pasal...(both the dumbass that did not want to clean his shit...and the U management) they decided that it was best to summon the whole floor. Because its One for all! and All for one!

Kemudahan ada tapi...

I mean wth. mcm prof saya selalu kata.

Kemudahan tandas ada

Kemudahan pili air ada

kemudahan toilet paper ada

but wth...air jer tak da. I mean wth!

Isu air yg tak pernah dan saya rasa tak kan selesai.

Setiap kali tak da air. maintanance... setiap kali tak da air. kerja penyenggaraan..

Kami bosan dengan alasan demi alasan yg diberi. Dulu kata sudah di "install' dua lagi pump yg berkuasa besar.

Itu semua KONON sahaja. WTH!

Pastu kat setiap aras ada TV. tapi Ariel ( bukan ariel peter pan) tak da. Nak tgk apa?? TV bukan yg murah, tapi Plasma! Lagi sekali wth! Kalau tak nak bagi student tgk yg gi pasang tv buat apa?? baik guna duit untuk mempercepatkan KONONnye kerja kerja menaik taraf itu.

Kemudahan wifi juga ada. Tapi wth! Tak boleh nak pakai...

Janji demi janji...Manifesto demi manifesto....Tunggu punya tunggu.....apa pun tak sampai....

99 x 5 = 495. Correct ?

I went to see my Academic Supervisor today.

He asked me what is Critical Thinking?

I answered him with my own version of answer.

He then gave me this mathematical question. How much is 99 x 5?

I answer 495. He asked me, how did I get the answer. I answer. I times the equation one by one. 9 x 5, 45 balance 4 bring it up on 9. and 9 x 5, 45 plus 4, 49. ( this was what I learnt in school). so in the end I got 495.

He said, that is the normal way of doing things. That is not critical thinking.

I paused...Are there any other ways to get the answer....

I cannot answer him.

He then said why I don't give you 82, 53, 37...Why did I used 99...

Again I paused I can't answer him...

I went back. Google the meaning of critical thinking. Google for different ways to get the answer of 99 x 5...but I still cannot get why he use 99 instead of other number?

I start to think. maybe if I was alert enough I would have used 500 - 5. Since 100 x 5 = 500. 99 x 5 = 500 - 5 = 495.

Is this the answer that my academic supervisor was looking for?

Does critical thinking means finding other ways, approach of doing something?

Any body has a clue?

Please help...

Not everthing that is bad is Bad

Kinda funny the ways how I get topics to blog about.

Well today, I am going to bring you to the other side of smoking. I am not encouraging smoking to anyone. But this is my view and opinion on smoking.

Welcome to the other side of huffing and puffing.

I know smoking is bad. With all the bad ingredients it has got inside.

To me smoking is not an addiction. However, it is something I quite enjoy.

The moment you light up a cigarette. I regard it as lighting up a flame. You see how the cigarette burns. You can actually get a lot of lesson from it. For me I like to smoke alone. Occasionally I like to do it in groups.

When I smoke alone, it gives me time to think about the day. Gives me time to reflect on my life..my day as a whole.

When you see the smoke, you realise that life is full of uncertainty.. you may be clouded by uncertainty..

But eventually the wind wil blow away all that smoke (uncertainty) away. Which means be optimistic. Rain or shine. Life has to go on. If you want to live life full of misery then be my guest. But if you start to be optimistic and view problem, obstacle, or challenges that come in a beautiful way. You might be surprised what you might end up with

Then you will the the smoke pattern forming into different shape and curves while being blown by the wind. Kinda like art.

And the amazing thing is, smoking makes you appreciate life. This may sound crazy.. But when I smoke, when I inhale the smoke. I get dizzy. I kinda like want to faint. Here the twist is.. Every time I inhaled and when I start to feel dizzy. I stop and take a deep breath of the air. I close my eyes. Breath in slowly. With the angin sepoi2 blowing tru my face.. I kinda like the feeling as if I am given the second chance to live.

Like in life, its little details like this we miss. and everytime we want more of what we don't have.

Try to see life differently. Like the title say. not everything that is bad is bad...
