Lightning From Asgard?

Was trying to shoot the twilight of the campus when I notice a big black cloud in the sky. To my surprise it was emitting lightning. This is my first attempt in trying to capture lightning. After much try. Here is the result. =)

First few attempts..not much luck..
Second attempt..able to get some light...
Getting clearer...after a few more attempts..

Took these picture with my Canon 1000D. used shutter priority of 1/10. IS0 of 200.
